Richard Moritz, J.D.
Richard joined Wolverine in 1984. Richard received his B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Hope College and his J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Michigan Bar Association, and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He served on the Standing Committee of the Michigan Bar Association for Oil and Gas Law and currently serves on the Real Property Law Section Committee. He is a member of the Michigan Oil and Gas Association, where he was a past member of the Board of Directors, the Michigan Association of Petroleum Landmen and the American Association of Petroleum Landmen. Richard has co-authored and published an article entitled “Limitations of the Lessee’s Use of the Pooling Clause,” which appeared in the Michigan Real Property Review for the Michigan Bar Association, and he is a frequent speaker at oil and gas conferences and seminars.
