Emily Hartwick
Emily joined Wolverine as an intern in 2005 and soon after decided to pursue a career in oil and gas exploration. Prior to her internship, she had been studying rare element hard rock geochemistry and fluid inclusion analysis. Emily obtained her BS from Central Michigan University in 2005 and immediately after joined the Wolverine staff as a Geologist. Emily completed her Master’s of Science degree from Western Michigan University in 2010. Much of her early career was focused on the newly discovered Covenant Field in Utah, and her Master’s thesis work was an in-depth study of the field’s dune architecture and its influence on fluid flow within the reservoir. In 2016 Emily became the manager of the Geology Department. Emily is a member of the Geological Society of America, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts.
