Dan has been with Wolverine Gas and Oil Corporation since 2005. Over those years, he has developed an expertise in numerous areas of oil and gas accounting including joint interest, revenue, tax, and financial reporting. For approximately five years prior to joining Wolverine, he was a member of the assurance staff of the national CPA firm that is now Crowe LLP.

Dan is a Michigan Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Calvin University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State University and is an Accredited Petroleum Accountant.

Dan is actively involved in several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of CPAs and the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society of Michigan. He has served COPAS – MI as President and served in all of the officer positions on the national board of directors during his six years of service. Dan is active in many civic and charitable organization including Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, local churches and North Kent Connect.
